Hi in the last couple of weeks my almost 10mth old has moved onto bottles of formula (about 18oz ish a day). I have noticed a serious decline in her solids intake - she wasn't a great eater before and hardly anything now.

She is teething and has a cold so not sure if that has got anything to do with it as well. Also woke up during night for a feed last night which has been the first time in 5 mths!!

So any advice on best amount of formula would be most welcome...thanks

a minimum of 20oz is recommended up to 1 year. This doesnt all have to be in drink form as milk with cereal, in foods, etc plus other dairy products count towards that too. At that age my lo's were moving towards 2 bottles per day - 1 before breakfast and 1 before bed, although they still had a small mid-afternoon milk feed till 10 1/2 months.
