Can a BLWd baby overeat?

DD is coming up to 8 months, we started BLW properly at 25 weeks and she took to it really well immediately. Ridiculously well (I know we're very lucky )

I'm pretty sure you can't, but just need some reassurance really that it's not possible to over feed a baby if they're BLWing? Particularly since despite eating a lot, she seems reluctant to cut out milk feeds (though is drinking less than before). Yesterday she ate;

8- 4oz milk
Then half an individual packet of porridge, a babybel and a whole apple

10- a satsuma and a whole pear

12.30- 1 slice of bread with soup, half a slice of bread as an open sandwich with tuna, grated carrot and yoghurt on. Half a banana and yoghurt.

1- 5 oz milk (she doesn't always have this milk feed, about half the time she doesn't ask for it so I don't give it.)

4- 3-4oz milk and a satsuma

6- mini dinner with roast sweet potato, butternut squash, veggies, salmon. Half a banana and yogurt

8- 7 oz milk

She also still has a night feed of 4-5 oz.

Looking back over that it seems like a stuipid amount of food for a tiny baby! Should I be doing anything differently? Maybe offering her a different snack instead of fruit in the morning like breadsticks/ peanut butter?

And, OT, where has the beginners BLW thread gone?!

TIA

I should add, I don't have any concerns about her weight. She was pootling along quite nicely on the 25th centile and though I haven't had her weighed for 2 months, she doesn't seem to have grown massively so I think she's still probably around that line.

I don't think so,at least I hope not because my 11mo eats like its his last supper, for every meal!

Yesterday he had a banana and 1/2 portion of shreddies for breakfast, sandwiches and melon for lunch, steak with carrots fried onions and homemade potato wedges for tea, with a yogurt and a bowl of grapes for pud.

BF and still has at least 2 feeds in the night plus about 4 in the day.

I am convinced I could wake him up at 3am, offer him a banana and a round of toast and he would be over the moon.

no don't think you can overfeed by blw; the only issue might be that she is not getting enough milk but I can see that she is have the 16-20oz they say babies need so don't worry. Also I found with both mine that the ate loads between about 6 and 8 months and this tailed off a bit when they started to crawl and move around, my 10 monthers appetitle is back with a vengeance now though

Thanks

DD has been crawling since we started weaning so that may be it also, she's using a lot of the energy to get into trouble

I guess I'll just carry on for now and hope that at some point she decides to drop a milk feed.
