Hi

I have been weaning my daughter since just before she was 6 months and to my delight she was eating mostly everything given to her. She had a stomach bug last week and went off solids. She's gradually been eating more and more but not at all like she was before she became ill. I have no reason to believe that she's still feeling unwell.
I'm concerned that I am feeding her too much milk, she gets 110mls after breakfast 2 x210 mls in between meals and 180 of Hipp night time milk before she goes to bed. She's not drinking all of her bottles.

Should I be giving her less milk and see if she eats more?

Many thanks

Hi Cookie

It might just take time for her to get back to normal although I think the amount of milk she's getting may be more than is recommended. Perhaps offer her water if she's thirsty to cut back a little?

you say it was only a week ago she had a tummy bug. Give her a bit of time, it really sets them back when that sort of thing happens. Don't worry, keep offering, but don't expect anything
