Mess mat wanted - stick down?

I have an annabel karmel one, but it's the bane of my life - it flaps around and you can't hoover it. (Essential!)
Does anyone know of some sort of mess mat that sticks to the carpet? Sort of like a giant sticky backed plastic sheet? I have some idea that you can get something like that for painting, but no idea where.

I use those giant jigsaw matt things, that have letters and/or numbers on? Easy to clean. ELC do packs of them but there are probably cheaper places too.

i bought a shower curtain, £1.99, wipes clean, when it looks a bit grubby, buy a new one.
Wilkinsons, B&Q you can get them everywhere.

had one for under the highchair, and also i used plastic birthday tablecloths, had a bob the builder one for about 5 years for craft type stuff.

We use shower curtains too. I bought 3 cheap machine washable ones and use one a day - at the end of the day I just shake it out the back door and bung it in the wash. It doesn't matter that it's not stick down as it's so large. It's the best thing I've got for BLW other than an Antilop chair and Sillybillyz bibs.

Could you tape a bit of oilcloth down to the carpet? I've given up on wiping things down though and now just putting newspaper under the chair which I throw away after every meal...
