We are about to go off to Turkey all inclusive. I started with purees with dd but have heard so much about BLW thought i would give it a try. DD is 6.5 months and likes to hold food but not much is being swallowed unless i spoon some puree in. I've been cooking all my own baby food and when i tried jars ready for the holiday she wasn't keen. Can you do blw on holiday, i'm worried about the ingredients and salt content.

Of course you can, fresh fruit, toast, veggies, bits of chicken, cut them into strips eh voila instant BLW foods.

Be careful with prepared very oily foods as they can give funny nappies at first!

Well i tried some cooked veg last night and dd choked then threw up. dh said thats enough back to purees, so holiday meal times could be tricky. Its really scary when she gags on the food.
