Hello,

My little one is 9 months and i really need some suggestions for finger food please.

I already have a 3 year old, but he's an extremely fussy eater, so i'm trying to do it differently this time (hopefully!!!!). At the minute i'm still pureeing, but he's not too interested in food that much, so i thought i'd give him as much as possible to try on his own.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

Whatever you are having really!
Toast/breadsticks
Roasted chunks of veg
Chunks of cheese
Bits of soft fruit

ds had started having little sandwiches by then. anything can be finger food though including mashed potato and rice!! (although it will be messy)

Pitta bread
Bean-burgers
Fishcakes
Pasta
Fruit

Are you thinking for snacks or meals?

loads of good recipes on aitch's site...

for example, some bloke called andrews muffins are great - on their own, spread with cream cheese. also good made with broccoli and very portable.

Thank you everyone. I think i was still thinking over-cautiously, and concentrating on cooked veg and soft mushy stuff (think that's where i went so wrong with ds1)

Thanks again
