DS2 ready for weaning, what best time to introduce rice ?

DD just ate when we ate from the off, sat at the dinner table with us (which she did anyway) but put food in front of her instead of toys. She took what she wanted that way. Made sense to me that she got used to eating at our meal times. Worked just fine.

Having weaned 2 onto rice and then the 3rd onto what we were having - some cooked veg to begin with - I woudl say forget the rice etc and do as showofHands says - pull the high chair up to the table and just let your ds see what he would like!
