Formula on breakfast cereal?

Stupid question of the day. Can I use formula on breakfast cereal? Run out of whole milk and got some ready-made emergency SMA's in the cupboard.

Actually is it a good way to introduce it (trying to get 9mo dd to take a bottle of formula a day)?

Thanks izzy - she's gobbling it up on her weetabix - which is interesting as she won't touch the stuff if I put it in a cup or bottle!

Yes I do this when we only have skimmed in.
It tastes different though.
