Too much fruit - is there such a thing?

DD is nearly 9 months and we've been doing near enough BLW from the start, at the moment she's having loads and loads of fruit and I'm not sure how much is right. Especially at breakfast - eg today she had half a nana and half a nectarine with some plain yogurt and was saying she wanted more. She'll easily get through half a dozen grapes after lunch and then a whole apricot or a handful of strawberries with tea.

I guess it's great that she likes it so much but I'm not convinced she knows when to stop, and if I stop offering when she asks, she gets all cross Does that sound reasonable? She also has pasta/toast/noodles at lunch or tea time, and a bit of cheese or fish or meat at lunch.

As long as she's still having as much milk as she likes, I think it's okay; they go thru fads. She eats other stuff, at least.

Her nappies might be nicer if her diet was a bit less fruit based, btw, but it's only a phase she's in right now, you may look back on it with fondness when she's older and turning her nose up at any fruit as 'uncool'.

DD (8 months) also loves fruit. She'll happily eat a whole banana, has loads of grapes, strawberries, raspberries etc. I dread to think how many plums she ate at my parent's house the other weekend (they have a plum tree) but her nappies were horrific for days afterwards!

her nappies are pretty dark and stinky at the moment, that's for sure! I guess when all the lovely summer fruit runs out and it's just apples and pears she might get a bit bored of it...
