Can you put uncooked chicken in the baby steamer/blender?!

I have a Beaba combined baby steamer and blender machine. My Q is: for recipes with chicken, can you steam chicken raw with the veggies or should you cook it first then put it in?

The recipe book does include chicken and meat cooking times but I am a bit whether or not to put raw chicken in for obvious reasons.

any thoughts?
TIA

When my dc were little I poached chicken and veg in the same pan.

Thanks Mercy.

To poach, is that boiled directly in water, essentially? (poaching novice here)

Anyone else on whether or not to put raw chicken in a steamer along with veggies? I intended to cube the raw chicken of course. Just that if it's not meant for raw chicken then I dont want to contaminate my (pretty expensive) new steamer blender!
