You wouldn't think I would need to ask as I have done this before, but my memories of weaning dd1 are very hazy! Basically I'm wondering: a) do I need to sterilise bowls, spoons etc if weaning at six months? (I don't have a dishwasher BTW so this isn't an option) b) is tap water OK to drink or should it be boiled first? Oh and c) any ideas on how to respond to my mum's and dp's nagging about why my five mth old dd2 is not weaned yet??? TIA

Thanks, that's pretty much what I was thinking. I did ask my HV and she said to sterilise, but TBH I don't set a lot of store by her advice!
