DP looks after our 9 month old DS whilst I'm out at work. I'm trying very hard not to be a backseat parent so before I say anyting I'd better be sure!

'Should' our DS be eating his solids at fixed(ish) times, or is it OK for him to be fed as and when he appears to want something?

He was always breastfed on demand before and still gets EBM on demand, but shouldn't we be training him to expect his food at socially acceptable times?.

Lots of adults don't eat at fixed times, but its generally easier to provide food at fairly consistent times. Well, lunch at least.

But if your DS isn't worried, then I wouldn't worry either
