If your baby was having allergic reactions to things why would you decide to wean a 19 week old baby???

Why would you wean a 19 week old baby anyway?

Comes back to say, yes I know there are some exceptions etc etc.

maybe the doc told them? my pal was weaning her baby at 26 weeks and he had horrific allergies. she was so surprised when the doc, hv and nutritionist all told her to keep weaning and keep a food diary.
instead, she stopped weaning immediately, kept bfing for the next couple of months and when she next tried to wean him he was completely fine. i think docs can have some right funny ideas tbh.

I just cannot understand weaning early - why add to the weeks of cleaning up food sprayed on the walls, floor, baby and mother?

surely they wouldn't say to go ahead before 26 weeks though? i dunno maybe they would
