Puree ba by - when to give finger foods?

DD is6 months now, but been on puree for about 4 weeks, only odd bits at first, but regular lunch and bit of mushed banana brekkie for about a fortnight.

I'm nervous of giving her fingerfoods, but she has never choked, coughed or struggled with her purees, from day 1 she has squealed and smiled and ate with her fingers in her mouth.

Do I need to give FFs yet?

If she can sit without support she should be able to handle finger foods.

Milk is still the main source of nutrition so you should continue to offer it. Are you BF? If so, there is no need to switch to formula, unless you want to.

I think FF's means finger foods in this instance. I gave finger foods alongside purees from 6 months.
