How do I get my 11mo to eat fruit as finger food?

He'll eat toast, rice cakes, sultanas, cheese and lots of other bits and bobs as finger food, but not fruit!

Nearly every meal time I offer something like banana, strawberries, clementine segments, mango strips, or pineapple but he won't eat them. Sometimes the bits make it into his mouth and then they sort of slip out.

He will eat fruit purees, though. Obv all his other food is just mashed or chopped up now.

Any suggestions?

try leaving a piece on his tray, and stepping back turning away , i find dd hates being scrutinised when she eats

Will give that a go, thanks.

Any other ideas, anyone?
