Hi all. my little one is 8 months old and refuses to eat home made food. i foolishly thought it would be easier to start weaning her with organic food jars, and she did eat ok (this is my first baby!) but now she refuses to eat anything that i cook! i am due back to work next week and she has been at her new nursery all week. she has refused to eat everything they have given her! i am starting to panic now as i feel its my fault and i dont want her to starve all day at nursery! Any advice? Please help!!!!!

what about if you put your food in the baby food jars?

finger food

she is still getting ltos of calories from milk and food is just something to play with and nibble at at this stage. lots of babies don't get into eating large amounts or meals for a while yet

Not sure if it is a good idea, having never tried something like this myself, but you could try mixing home made food with jar food starting with 25% home made and 75% jar. Change quantity until you are on 100% home made. The main thing is not to worry, she is only 8 months. I also agree with the finger foods ideas.
