My dd is 11 months and has been having green poo for a few weeks now. I didnt think much of it until the last few days where she has got a really bad nappy rash and has to pass stools after every meal and milk. I stopped breastfeeding a few weeks ago too and im wondering if its connected. Ive been giving aptamil 3 since she was 8 months, one bottle at night and have gradually increased the amount of formula milk to not bfeeding at all. since yesterday shes just having watery green poo in dribs and drabs. Been piling on the sudacreme but is not working..any advice plz? shes very irritable as a result of it.

the aptamil contains prebiotics which can give runny poo - could be an intolerance to that or to the cows milk protein in the milk. Have you spoken to the hv/gp about it?

took her to the gp this morning as she had a fever, he prescribed a steroid cream for her rash as its quite bad, plus asked for a stool sample as she shouldnt have green poo, said it could be a bug shes got. dont think its milk inolerance or could it be?
