Food in nappies - I don't get it???

Why does it come out exactly as it went in?
Does this mean they aren't getting any goodness from it?
Is it a baby digestive thing or for everyone - I've never inspected an adults no2's! (I don't do them - I'm like the queen. )

DS has sweet potato chips for lunch, and mummy had a sweet potato nappy a few hours later!

Curious.....

Today I was horrified to discover what looked like a nest of slugs in my DS's pooey nappy...till I remembered the roast courgettes that featured in yesterday's tea. Urgh.

Oh good greenmonkies just checking. I once watched an aunt (not even a mother!) chew up some food in her mouth to mush and then put it in the baby's mouth - I think she was about 9 months old and it was gross to watch.

Just wait until they get hold of crayons.....teal blue.....bright orange.....purple....evey one's a suprise!

Also don't be afraid when you have a black poo in a nappy. It just means you've given them blueberries (if you haven't might want to NHS Direct it!)
