My 7.5 month old DD began weaning at 6 months and has taken to it well, eating lots of fruit & veg, cereals, wholemeal bread etc - all good home made stuff.
She's currently on around a pint of formula a day: morning, afternoon and last feed before bed, approx 200 mls per feed.
Recently, she has not been bothered about her first bottle of the day at all and when she does take it, her appetite for porridge, even an hour later, is poor.
To me, it says she is ready to drop to 2 bottles a day but I am worried that she won't be getting enough vitamins etc as HV says around 600ml a day up to one yr, and she is only 6 weeks or so into weaning.

My instict says to give her porridge made with formula and keep to the varied diet but I wanted to ask other experienced mums' opinion. Thanks.
