Hi,
DS is only 9 months, and not particularly regular in terms of what he wants to eat, but here's a rough idea of what he has in a day. Times are very vague though - changes every day. I've no idea if the amount / portion sizes are correct - I just let him eat what he wants. Sometimes it's masses and I wonder where he puts it, sometimes he's just not interested. BFs are also a bit random - he's fed on demand at home, but has bottles of EBM at nursery. So at home he'll have between 5 and 8 feeds a day, on days he's at nursery he'll usually only have 5.
7am BF, usually a big one
8.30am Breakfast.
Porridge with fruit
Cereal (weetabix) with milk or
Eggy bread (couple of slices)or
Scrambled eggs / cheese omelette
Sometimes has a piece of toast as well.
10.30am BF (has 6-8oz EBM at nursery, no idea at home)
1.30pm Lunch (only just started this, he used to have a BF here)
Felafels (about 4 small ones)or
Sandwich or
Cheese on toast or
Veg sticks with dip (hummus, bean dip, guacamole, salsa)or
Soup. (Veg, chicken, Leek and Potato)
Usually has a bit of fruit and/or yogurt.
2pm (very ish) BF(sometimes - usually if I didn't give him enough lunch! He seems to be in the process of dropping this one, but has between 0-5oz EBM at nursery)
4-5pm BF (has about 8oz EBM at nursery)
Sometimes a snack - couple of rice cakes, some yogurt, fruit or cucumber sticks.
6pm (nursery days) v small BF (I think it's just to say hello after he's been at nursery all day )
7pm Dinner
Whatever we're having, really, such as
Chicken / beef casserole.
Roast veg
Homemade sausages with potatoes and veg
Pasta with sauce and meatballs.
8pm BF and sleep.
I know we're a bit odd, as DS doesn't go to bed until around 8.30 - 9pm, but it works for us and him, and he's a really good napper in the day (usually has one long nap of about 3 hours). He often doesn't wake up until 8am either, so everything just gets pushed back.
Hope that helps.
