gagging and throwing up - at wits end

Can anyone help?

DD is 9 months old, she'a had really awful reflux and is on ranitidine and motilium and infant gaviscon.

Weaning just isn't happening. She'll trough her way through puree no problem (unless she doesn't like the taste, then she'll retch and retch til she's managed to spew it ALL back up)

But with finger food she'll shove it in then yet again here will come the retch and she'll just keep retching until every single thing she's eaten has landed in her bib.

She's dairy intolerant as well so i'm finding that really, really limiting.

Don't know what to do. My 2 yo son was a breeze in comparison.

Is anyone out there with any tips? We've got a reflux appointment with the hospital soon so i was going to ask there, but thought i'd try here too.

hi
my 10 month old is the same, he gags on the smallest lump and vomits up his entire stomach contents. It's really upsetting for him and us. I'm sticking with the puree and slowly introducing 'soft lumps' like stewed apple that's not totally liquidised and soft oats. 'Hard lumps' like potatoes and carrot just made him vomit. Rice cakes seem to be okish as they go soft. Spoke to my health visitor and she's referred up to a speech therapist.
Dont really have any tips, just wanted you to know you're not alone!

Ditto my 2 yr old was a breeze too!
