HAd planned to BLW but DD doesn'treally do lumps, seems to get upset when she has a big bit of food in her mouth etc.

So am now on purees - so bloody dull - and she is just not interested in non-sweet things. When do they start being interested in savoury things? she doesn't even like potato! generally she'll have avocado and banana, ella's pouches with squash/sweet potato, or mashed carrot and parsnip. She hates the green ella. Tried her on a pea puree theother day mixed wiht other bits and she wasn't very impressed. I'm a total foodie and am finding the whole process pretty dull, just wish she would get on and start eating proper food. I am a total salt fiend tho so am scared to give her any of our food as I keep forgetting to leave out the salt.

can you try mixing sweet and savoury and gradually change the proportions, eg apple + parsnip, pear + squash? Apple should cpmplement lots of things quite nicely, swede, sweet potato, carrots, whatever, really.

yes I guess I just need to be more patient with trying these things. am very tired as she's waking at 5am so not feeling remotely motivated to make new foods that she won't eat...
