Pips etc for 9 month old?

Just a quicky - DD is nearly 10 months and loves her food. I'm just wondering if I really need to keep deseeding tomatoes etc before I give them to her. Her food is all just chopped or roughly mashed. Books I have still say to skin and deseed tomatoes though.
I hate skinning and deseeding tomatoes!

How odd - I have never heard of that! I have never deseeded or skinned a single tomato for my DS and he is now 2 so it doesn't seem to have done him any harm. She's hardly going to choke on a tomato seed is she?

I'd stop if I were you

No, I've never deseeded or peeled tomatoes for ds. Come to that, he was eating apple peel before this - and that's much tougher!

put the book down, life to short to skin and seed tomatoes.

DD's have just had them quartered when tiny now just halfed mind you they will only eat cherry toms.

Thanks - thought I was being over the top.
We all had shepherds pie last night and I found whole sweetcorn in DD's nappy this morning (sorry that's a bit gross). Worrying about tomato pips seems stupid now
