Suitable dinner for a 6 and a half month old

My baby starting sleeping really well when I introduced a cereal and fruit dinner (Holle rice porridge and stewed fruit). He now refuses to have it, so I breast feed him and put him to bed. This means that he wakes up to feed during the night several times and I'm knackered.

Any ideas for a nice and nutritious dinner? What cereals do your babies like? I'd rather go for an organic version,

Hi, try the Baby Organix ones.

They have a first stage too if these are too much.

Try the millet one, much tastier and more nutritious (more protein and iron). Also, try mixing it with veg (eg. broccoli) instead of fruit and perhaps season it with olive oil and a little mature cheese. I found my DD wouldn't eat anything tasteless and boring and stewed fruit really put her off.

Tasty alternatives to millet in the same range are spelt and there was also a 4 cereal one iirc. Alternatively you could just let him snack on finger food.

Thanks ladies, I'm definitely giving baby organix a go. I had not thought of mixing it with veg, but maybe that's exactly what will do the trick!
