Packed lunch for BLW 8mo to take to CM - ideas needed?

This is planning ahead. My DD2 will start at the CM in August aged nearly 8mo. DD1 started at 7mo but took puree for lunch. I plan to BLW this one - so no giving up my Sundays to prepare week's worth of puree - but am not sure what to include in her lunches. CM is pretty easy going and is happy for DD2 to eat - or not to eat - as the case may be.

Thinking of sandwiches - tuna should be ok but other filling ideas welcome.

Fruit - banana, pears, melon.

Steamed veg seems a bit nasty if it sits in the fridge and is cold to eat.

Ideas welcome - from September DD2 will be with CM full time!

sandwiches - grated cheese, sliced egg/egg mayo, ham, peanut butter (depending on history of allergies)

fruit - sliced grapes, strawberries, satsuma, raisons

you could also do cheese crackers, breadsticks, pitta bread, rice cakes, pancakes, etc

Sandwiches good (my DD's favourite is/was garlic sausage ).

Pasta. Pasta is good.

Veg is OK if CM will reheat.

Mini cheese muffins (and fruit muffins) freeze well and can be chucked into a lunch bag still frozen.

Scotch pancakes were a favourite with DD.

will she warm anything up or is it strictly a cold lunch?

potatoe salad and pasta salad will be good but might not work initially

wide variety of bread for saandwiches. so stuffed pittas/wraps/crasy rolls should make it more exciting

potatoe cake things (like fishcakes with no fish)

frittatta?

chicken nuggets? we have the cornflake crust ones on picnics i think the recipe came from Aitchs blog, they always go down well

quiche
pasta salad
sandwiches (tuna, cheese, egg mayo)
leftover veg
malt loaf with cheese
