weetabix and poo questions

Hi! Is it ok to give 6mo DS weetabix? I have been, he loves it, but then I thought what if it has too much fibre? Also, possibly connected or not, did your kids turn into poo factories when you weaned proper? Since he has been on 3 meals a day he is pooing 4+ times a day which has been for about a week. His bottom is spotty but doesn't seem painful, but having said that he hasn't pooed at all so far today. Don't know what's going on.

It went straight through DS1, but not DS2.

Think it depends on the child.

Porridge seems better!

i'm giving it to my 6.5 mo. she seems quite happy with it.

it totally bunged ds1 up, still does actually.

but I do know plenty of people who've had no problem with it

I give weetabix(about 1/3 of one piece) mixed with yoghurt to make it thicker.Works very well for us.
