We're currently doing loaded spoons of oatibix. Just mix with milk, scoop it up and pop it in front of him. Like a sticky, oaty lollipop!

Raisin wheats.
Porridge pancakes.

shredded wheat bitesize with warm milk

We have porridge, ds eats it with his hands, I make it quite thick though.

FeelingLucky · 28/02/2009 19:46

weetabix - break one into quarters and milk over it to soften but not enough to fall completely apart

We're loving plums with our porridge (on loaded spoons) at the moment. They seem to be half-price at the mo as well.

How old are your DCs that you're doing the loaded spoons for? I'm going to start BLW in two weeks but can't imagine anything would stay on a spoon this early??

wastingmyeducation · 01/03/2009 19:57

We did loaded spoons of greek yoghurt from 26 weeks, but oatibix are very sticky!
