Hi. Im looking at a tripp trapp to buy online, as I live nowhere near a shop that stocks it (45 miles away!). My table is a chunky style one with height of 76cms, but the table top is 12 cms thick, so the distance form the floor to the underneath of the table top is 64cms. Would a tripp trapp work (with the baby set and cushion), as I want a highchair that you can pull up to the table, so the little one can join in with family meals, when we start weaning in 5 weeks!!!! Im excited to wean, but dare not order a tripp trapp until I know it will fit! Thanks to any tripp trapp owners who can help!

You can adjust the hieght of the seat on the tripp trapp so you can make it fit perfectly under your table. THat is why it is so wonderful

Yes, you can adjust it as required.

We have 3. my table is 66cm from the floor to the bottom of the table top. the chair in current state (son 7 months) is 55cm from the floor to the top of the cushion. So you should be ok, unless your child has very chunky thighs!!

the tripp trapp chair is great, babes sit up nice and straight in them, (better than most high chairs in restaurants IMO) and my 6 and 4yr olds are still using theirs and will do until whenever. But they're not totally adjustable, as you are limited to the top 2 seat settings with the baby set.

Hope this helps, Cass.

Thanks so much for those who replied. Thanks to Cass as I got exactly the measurements I was after!! Wouldn't want to squash the thighs!!!
