Mint Tea??

DS has problems with reflux etc. and won't take water - hence, I am concerned that he is getting dehydrated.

The osteo recommended v weak camomille tea to try and get him to take water but I was thinking about mint tea as this might help digestion too? Any reason why not??

You would have to check caffeine and sugar content. Quite often mint tea is mixed with green tea which is quite high in caffiene.

If you can get DS onto chamomile & spearmint tea, it may help with digestion (and certainly helps with sleep). Have frequently 'sedated' DS (now 5) with this when he's had too much sugar when out - works a treat

Green tea has caffeine? eek! We let dd have green tea every now ad again... hadn't realsied.
Surely 100% mint leaves have no caffeine though?

i have given ds verveine tea and fennel tea - no probs. fennel helps with wind apparently.
