solids vs milk at 25 weeks

ds (25wks) will either take solids or milk for breakfast but not both. i've tried leaving a gap, milk - nap - solids, that kind of thing but that doesn't make a difference. if he has just milk he will only have 4-5oz if he has solids he has a bowl of baby cereal made with milk & 1oz from his bottle after. he has 3 further bottles of 6-7oz and 2 more solid meals.

Should i give up the solids and just give him milk or keep on with the solids & little bit of milk?

Milk is more inportant than solids at this age - I would stick to milk.

He's having milk in with the cereal. He's just not hungry again for a bottle as well.

If he's on 3 meals a day he needs about 20z of formula, so that's about right. Make sure he has water too.

So, my answer is either give him milk or brekkie, but don't expect him to have both!
