Salt levels for 8 month old

Can't seem to find any guidelines about how much salt is okay per day for babies.

I don't add salt to anything I cook for DD but things like cream cheese and cereals etc all have salt in them.

Anyone know the answer?
Cheers

Babies only need a very small amount of salt - less than 1g a day until they are 6 months old and no more than 1g a day from 7 to 12 months.

These are the maximum amounts of salt children should have in a day:

1 to 3 years - 2g a day (0.8g sodium)
4 to 6 years - 3g salt a day (1.2g sodium)
7 to 10 years - 5g a day (2g sodium)
11 and over - 6g a day (2.5g sodium)
