full fat cows milk

I've run out of full fat cows milk for DD's cereal tomorrow morning, she's 10mo.

DP is away so I cannot run up the road. I've got some UHT semi-skimmed... it's ok if she has that on her cereal tomorrow, right??

Yes it will be fine

I have given my DC semi skimmed before will be fine as a one off

Caz10 · 28/01/2009 19:49

I don't think it's that semi-skimmed is bad, only that they need the fat so that's why they should get the full fat. Sure it'll be fine!

Yes, fine now and again, just not all the time yet

What about UHT??

Honestly it will be fine as a one off

Can't see UHT being a problem - it's standard fayre on the continent. You'd have to read the labels to see if it has the same nutritional content as fresh pasteurised milk though. But now and again it's not going to be a problem.
