Bumping for you.

Don't get a highchair at all - the best thing to do is buy a booster seat. How about one like this hereYou can take them anywhere, cost very little and my dd2 still uses hers aged nearly 5.

You will get PLENTY of recommendations for the Ikea Antilop. Only £9.99 plus £2.99 for the tray. It is the best thing since sliced bread. I had a booster chair for DS and my inlaws bought him a really fancy Graco highchair and he hated both but will sit happily in the Antilop... And so, so easy to wipe down.

i like the look of the obaby one.
we have the babydan and it is fine.
the only problem I have with it is that to use the bar and crotch strap you have to have the seat on the highest setting... otherwise the strap won't reach around the bar. does that make sense?

we cannot have the seat on the highest setting because our table is too low, so we've had to convert an old belt into a new strap for it lol

the obaby one looks like it has a longer strap so you could use it with the baby set but with the seat at different heights.
plus, it's cheaper than the babydan.

We have the Babydan. I splashed out on very little baby stuff - cheap pushchair etc, but I decided that if we were going to have an extra chair in our dining room for however many years, I wanted a nice one. Don't regret the decision at all. DS is now 3 1/2 and getting a bit big for boosters, so at family / friends he just makes do with a normal chair, but at home he is still in his Babydan at just the right height.

we have the Svan. Got it 2nd hand off Ebay. It has a detatchable tray with a plastic cover (though haven't used this much). It is wooden and looks in keeping with our dining furniture.

If we are eating TV dinners off ;ap trays, DS sits in his Bumbo seat (again with optional tray) eating alongside us, on a splash mat.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am also torn between the BabyDan and the Megan at the moment and wondered if anyone else has any views?

Red Kite 'feed me' high chair is a cheap imitation of the tripp trapp.

We have 2!
