BLW Gagging and being sick

Ive started this week with the BLW with my 6mt old DD. Its going well and shes enjoying exploring the food. Most stuff makes it way into her mouth and she is managing to break bits off and move them around in her mouth.

Im prepared for the gagging and she does have the odd gagging moment but deals well with it.

My question is .. Sometimes she is sick after gagging.Im guessing this is all normal and ok?

It doesnt bother her and im quite proud of myself that i havent freaked out! I just say oh dear, clean her up and she continues.

Yup - quite normal, and it gradually stops as their gag reflex point moves and they get better at chewing

Yup - vomit city round here too! If you stick your finger or anything else onto your soft palette you'll puke too. It's purely anatomy over experience. They learn not to do it within a month or so (at least DD did).
