Sounds good to me! Feeding just before a meal is fine too, whatever suits you both best. As long as she's not ravenously hungry at meal times then all will be well

I can't really help with routine, I've always just gone with the flow, although a daily rhythm did develop later on (7 or 8 months? Maybe?).

I'm sure you'd get some good tips if you posted in the Behaviour/Development topic

DS is now 8 months, and we've continued with demand-feeding breastmilk and napping when he gets sleepy, but did start a bedtime routine when he was about 4 months old.

With mealtimes, we were eating breakfast when we got up, but as wake-up time was so variable, I'm trying to fix it at 8, or asap if we get up later which rarely happens. Lunch is at aprox 12.30 and dinner at 6, so he can eat with Daddy too.
I'm going to add a snack at 4ish soon too.

It's all subject to change of course! If he decides to sleep at 12 and stays asleep for two hours, then he misses lunch.

I like to know what's coming next too but also not too good at routine. I found doing a morning routine to first nap and a bedtime routine is enouh for my brain to handle, but leaves the lunchtime & afternoon flexible.
