Easy BLW lunchs

My PFB 26 week old is about to start nursery, they have never done BLW before and altho I have told them he has to be watched whilst he eats because of choking I am not entirely comfortable with them yet. When I went in yesterday (during lunch) to pick him up, the carer left her 3 charges eating whilst dealing with me, they were probably only a couple of months older than A.
So I would like suggestions of easy lunches to send in with him.

Thanks.

cold pasta and pesto with some green beans.

strips of omelette

bean burgers/sausages

sandwiches

bits of cheese

actually, tbh if he's only just turned six mos i'd be sending in some cucumber and some steamed or roast veggies i think. there's no pressure for him to eat it, though, so make sure you're also sending in plenty of milk for his appetite.

My 6-7 month old DD loved cheese, cold pasta twists (with or without pesto), cold pasta shells (with philadephia cheese in) and strawberries, grapes and strips of pear. And rice cakes too I think. But she really was keener on being BF for a couple of months longer, so the food was just for a taste and a bit of exploration really.

Thanks. He is still mainly on milk and as you have said it's just for fun and exploration at the moment, I am just being a little PFB about them keeping an eye on him for choking which I am being a little neurotic about! I like the cold pasta idea, nice and soft!
