Hi my 18wk dd has been on hungry baby sma for a month and that doesn't sem to settle her any more she always seems hungry. Have tried her on some pureed veg and she went mental screaming and on the baby rice she likes but only 2 baby spoons and then she starts crying.
Do you think it is too soon? Should I stop for a couple weeks then give it another go?

too soon! Wait until 26 weeks, this is the recommended age for weaning. Remember that milk has more calories than pureed veg!

stop for a few weeks and try again nearer 26 weeks.

She could be having a growth spurt which is making her temporarily want more milk. Did the hungry baby sma make a difference that ordinary formula couldn't?

If she's still hungry then give her more milk. It's too early for food and you could do serious damage to her system.

She knows what's best for her - she knows that she's too young for food! Give her lots more milk and try solids again in 8 weeks time!

too soon - as the others say try more milk. She might be going through a growth spurt.....
