I have no idea which topic this should go in, so here it is.

I would like to start offering my LO water in the night to ascertain whether he is waking from hunger or habit. He is 6 months on the 14th Jan.
Can I boil some water in the morning and then just keep it in a sterilised bottle in the fridge all day? Or do I have to make it fresh each time? Or am I being completely PFB about this and I can just get it from the waterbucket in the garden

thank you.

I use tap water (ok from 6 months) but if you are worried use cool boiled water no more than 24 hours old.

Cheers guys. I am quite happy to do one feed a night between 11pm and 6:30am but not 2, especially as one usually consists of suck suck zonk so I don't think it's hunger.

Hmm. You could introduce a dummy just to drop one of the night wakings? Baby whisperer explains how to do this and it might work?
