Freezing Purees

Once I have frozen purees, what is the correct way to defrost and feed to baby. If I have used baby formula in the puree and frozen it is it safe to reheat?

yes
I did it in the microwave
you need to stir it resally well to make sure you get rid of any hot spots

When you do it in the microwave is it just the normal setting or do I use the defrost setting.

I used the normal setting
you can also just warm it up on the hob

use the normal setting, as you need to get the food piping hot then let it cool down for the baby.

I usually defrost overnight in the fridge, then I only have to worry about heating it up.

I tend not to put baby formula in the purees before I freeze them; instead I just add in however much I need to get the right consistency when feeding. DS is progressing very quickly from runny purees to mashed stuff, so that way I dont have a freezer full of stuff that's too runny for him now.

HTH.
