Is it normal for poo to change colour to a dark green when weaning?
Its been like it since i started weaning dd.

Should i worry?

Overall weaning going very very well.

My Dd's poo has been like this - just started weaning her on Saturday. I'm not worried - she isn't constipated and is still bfing the same - so I guess it's normal. Glad the weaning is going well.

I read that as my Dad's poo Techno! My DS's poo darkened certainly when we commenced weaning.

Perfectly normal in this house, but will vary depending on foods,
so much more green with green veg
nearly black with blueberries
much paler with baby rice or potatoes

We had a BRIGHT green poo the other day. I have been weaning my Dd for three weeks now. The (lincoln) green poo followed shortly after my Dd's first taste of broccoli ,so I wasn't too concerned.

All her dirty nappies have looked almost identical to what went in only hours previously. I have become quite obsessed with her nappies

I must admit i do inspect dds nappies a lot.

All she has had so far is breakfast and apple puree and apple/pear puree which is very bland in colour.

I am now introducing carrot puree as of 2mor if i can sucessfully make it ok lol so im wondering if i will get orange and green poop from now on hehe.

I plan on broccoli in a couple weeks so i will look out for bright green poop

Glad its normal so i can just relax now and carry on

Oh yes, the joys of multi-coloured poo, how could I forget?
Just beware that bananas leave very weird black 'wormy-looking' things in poo-highly alarming first time round and beetroot comes out looking like blood
Life gets much more interesting once weaning starts and all conversations with other parents end up being about poo within around 3 minutes
