highchair help

We are off to my parents for xmas and the plan was DD would sit at the table with us in her highchair and have a carrot or something to play with during xmas dinner. Shes will be just 5mths and then and I dont intend to start weaning till 6mths.

Just got the highchair out that our friends gave us (a M&P huge thing) and shes completely lost in it! Rattling around it with the harness too big and the tray at eye level.

Anyone recommend a cheap highchair that would be suitable? It would prob get left at my parents.

Ikea Antilop - brilliant, £12 and easy to transport too.

second the Antilop - wee babies dont get lost in it - buy the inflatable cushion to give a more snug fit!

What aboutthis

littleboyblue · 14/12/2008 18:01

That was my first link, and it worked!!!

What about something like this with a cushion behind her. She sits up unaided briliantly. We could use it for visiting friends and relies.?

Any good?

the inflatable one is from 12 months. You can get portable booster seats that fit onto a dining chair or you could go for the ikea atntilop that has been suggested already - the legs are removable for travel.

Thanks Ladies,

Sounds like the Ikea one gets good reviews... However Ikea is miles away for me and there is no chance of me getting there before xmas
