Lentil casserole hasn't defrosted well - advice needed!

I made a lentil casserole that DD absolutely loved on the day I made it. However when I tried to give her a portion that had been frozen she refused to eat it. To be honest, I don't blame her cos it looks revolting and has gone really bitty. Has anyone else had this problem when freezing lentils? I've got 30 portions taking up lots of room in the freezer, so if anyone can offer some advice on how I can make it more appealing to DD, I would be very grateful!!

hi there - could you mix it in with something that overrides everything else? like sweet potato?

How about pureeing it with some water and a hand blender and making it into a soup? (PS. 30 portions???)
