Poo question!

Hi all, Started weaning DD few weeks ago and have also started to drop breastfeeds one at a time and now getting to the point where I think I dont have enough to see her through a full feed, so starting her on her first full formulafeed day today
My question is this:
Her poo has begun to get progressively harder and she is now passing about 4 lumps a day rather resembling a more adult poo. Is this normal? When she was breastfed the poos were always to explosive and now she strains a lot harder and for little results! They seem really solid and I'm beginning to think she may be constipated.
She never yells in pain during them, just goes red! Her wee isn't dark in colour so am I worrying over nothing? is this normal baby poo? (am making own purees if thats relevant)

more likely an effect of the formula than of the food

Sorry you;re feeling re stopping bf - there are ways to mix-feed successfully that could be worth investigating if you wanted to
