I've turned down several lunch invitations for fear of feeding Dd (7months) in public. Anyway went xmas shopping with my mum today, armed with lunch for Dd.

While I haven't been doing blw, I have been including finger food with every meal since she was weaned at 5.5 months.

Anyway, mum took me to me a rather nice restaurant and dd sat in highchair and ate avocado, banana, phily in mini pittas, stawberries melon and bits of our lunch. She didn't make too much mess and just got on with it while we ate lunch.

I'm so relieved that I can go out and about again. I feared that I would be stuck in the house forever.

Aw, bless!
My DS however makes a terrible mess, wherever we are. I just clean it up afterwards! My thinking is that if they provide highchairs they should expect a little mess. I have a high tolerance for embarrassment though.

xx
