My DS will be 11 months in 10days.

He is currently have 3 bottles of formula a day, but the one i give him in a cup in the afternoon he hardly drinks. So im wasting time and washing up making him up a bottle of formula to put into a cup for him then to only drink maybe an onze.

So i was thinking to give him a cup of cows milk in the afternoon as a drink with a snack, what does everyone think??

Hm, at nearly 11 month old (and considering that the advice, I assume, still is that you can give cowsmilk from 12 month on anyway) I would think, that as a snack a little bit of cowsmilk won't do any harm....unless you have specific worries about allergies, etc...I would htink it will be fine.
I think the issue with giving cowsmilk before 12 month tends to be a nutrient one, but if your lil one only has an ounce at that time anyway....it probably won't have any impact anyway.
However, my youngest son is 4 now, so, I must admit that I am not as aware of the current feeding guidelines, as someone with a younger child may be....

it should be fine. I gave my ds the odd drink of cows milk from about 9 months. As long as the other 2 feeds are formula then he will get the nutrients he needs. It will also get him used to the taste of cows milk for when he goes onto it at 1 year. It is also a good way to get him to start taking milk from a cup.
