BLWeaners - what did you feed your dc tonight?

DS2 is one and tonight wolfed down a huge plate of roasted veg including carrots, potatoe, sweet potatoe, courgette, parsnip, boiled cauliflower and brocoli, baby sweetcorn, peas and a skin-off fish finger followed by spooned in baked apple, blackberry and raspberry with a couple of biscotti biscuits and half a cup of water

Very proud of him as at this age we were lucky if ds1 would eat a pot of yoghurt (spooned in) and a few fruit flakes...

We have only just started, but new foods for tonight were cheese and carrot!! His fave at the moment is cucumber!

stretchmarkqueen · 18/11/2008 21:31

DD is 15 months. She had sausage and bean casserole with rice and a homemade cheese straw for afters. She didn't eat a lot, but she has a cold.

cupsoftea · 18/11/2008 21:40

Rice, sweetcorn & onion followed by bread & butter pud & cream

Chirpygirl · 18/11/2008 21:57

Griddled honey and mustard chicken, jacket potato with cheese, asparagus and broccoli.
Satusmas and Jelly for pudding.

dd has only been blw for a month but today she's had corn on the cob (sucked to death), sweet potato, broccoli, rice cakes with philly on and a juicy plum. Obviously most of this has been gummed and chucked on my newly washed kitchen floor rather than actually eaten

onepieceoflollipop · 19/11/2008 21:27

Fusilli pasta with green pesto, peas and grated parmesan stirred in. (not my recipe, I adapted it from another mner, who used philadelphia instead of parmesan). dd ate the peas one by one with great concentration and enjoyment. She loves carrots too and had a rather disturbing incident when I gave her satsuma and she assumed it was carrot. lol.

Yoghurt for pudding - she is learning to spoon feed (15 months now)

EyeballsintheSky · 19/11/2008 21:33

DD had roast chicken, green beans and noodles (not Super!) followed by fruit. Boooooring but I'm not well

pinata · 19/11/2008 21:47

muffin pizza, avocado, pear - DD's nearly 1

PortAndLemon · 19/11/2008 21:53

Blimey! DD (7 months) had a cheese and ham toasted sandwich (we were out) although she didn't eat the ham. Or much of the toast, to be honest . Then later she smeared all over her head licked the spoon from making malt loaf while DS licked out the bowl (nothing that's bad to be eaten uncooked in that, fortunately).

GiraffeAHolic · 19/11/2008 21:53

dd 7 months had penne pasta with grated cheese and chicken bits, cucumber, pesto humous on ricecakes and a yoghurt

babyOcho · 19/11/2008 23:18
