Dd is almost 7 months and I'm doing a combination of blw and mush.

She refuses to tolerate finger vegies (even dipped in cheese sauce) but likes toast and pieces of fruit. She will eat scrambled egg (if I feed her)but not strips of omlette. I feel that I am giving her variations of fruit and toast with every meal.

Suggestions please for other types of easy to prepare finger food.

How about penne pasta, easy to hold and you can stuff cheese or humous inside them.

Will she take the veggies if you spread them on toast?

Pitta bread with various fillings is always a winner here; sardines, tuna, philly.

baby pizza always goes down a treat here - toast/muffin/pitta or similar, ellas kitchen or dolmio kids tomato sauce (no salt in there) and cheese melted on top

i second the pasta idea and sainsbury's do lovely mini breadsticks, which you could dip in whatever you like

also mini sandwiches - fillings popular here are mashed avocado with garlic, cumin and a splash of lemon juice, banana and peanut butter, fruit spread from the health shop and philly

DD loves pitta bread with cheese and tomato.

M&S do mini sized pittas, or if you do the big sized ones you can eat what she doesnt. They make such little mess as well!

Pasta (DD loves spaghetti or twirls) with philli. If you want to make it more healthy, chuck in some frozen peas and a block of spinage to the pot as well.
