The doidy cup thread has gotten me thinking ... DD just won't drink fluid other than milk. I've tried lots of different cups including the doidy and I've tried diluted fruit juices, baby juices and just water and she's just not interested. She'll usually take a sip and then mostly spits it straight back out again.

My HV says to just keep offering it and encouraging her but no progress yet.

Anyone experienced anything similar or can offer words of wisdom?

ditch the juice and just offer water but don't force it

she'll come round to it in time - tbh atm she;s probably drinking enough milk that she's not thirsty for water

My dd (now 6) wasn't a thirsty baby either.

Same as you Wendyh. Tried everything under the sun, but DD just was not interested.
She is 2.8 now and still does not drink much during the day. She has a bottle of milk at bed time so this hopefully helps keep her hydrated.

She sometimes enjoys a carton of apple juice, but I think that is mainly putting the straw in etc.....

I just keep offering her fluids, day in day out !!
