I really am a shite cook! My questions are as follows:

we'll have our main meal of the day at lunchtime.

If making roast veggies do you coat them in a bit of olive oil first? Do roast veggies freeze Ok?

Can anyone post a link to a doidy cup? Can't find one in ASDA/Tesco.

Am I right in saying no honey until 1 year old? Also same with citrus fruits, ie oranges?

Will probably start off with carrot, broccoli, banana, rice cakes. If, when he is ready to move on and I give him some of our shepherd's pie for example do I just stick a bit on his table and see what he does?

If making say porridge or pancakes do I make these with full fat cows milk or his formula?

Roast veggies- yes or any fat. Yes they freeze fine.

Doidy cup I think you can get from blooming marveloous or jojomamanbebe

No honey till 1. Citrus fruits are ok but baby might not like them!

Yeah just stick it on the table, it'll be fine

Doesn't matter whether you use formula or cows milk for porridge/pancakes, we use cows milk.

Roast veggies - toss them with some sunflower oil first. In this house they never survive to be frozen as we are all very fond of roast parsnip/sweet potato/carrot.

Doidy cup here

No honey till 1, but citrus fine from 6 months.

Its good right from the start to try and share food to some extent - so have a bowl of pasta together. Basically just lob a bit of your food onto their tray and see what happens
