What milk for my 6-month-old?

I really really hate expressing. Was wondering which milk to use if I want to put a bit on some cereal for my 6-month-old. DO I just have to get on with it and express? Can he have cow's milk? Am doing an online shop and wondering about getting him some ready made formula for that sort of thing, but I've never bought formula and the choice is bewildering. Can anyone advise?

(Just to be clear, he is still breastfed, but sometimes a bit of milk is useful when giving him food in the high chair).

He can have cow's milk after 6 months in cereal and cooking. Just not as a main drink.

Oh that's easy then. Good!

I get organic whole milk - it's got the most nutrients in and they need to have whole milk until they're quite a bit older anyway. I think milk is the only organic product which has been proved to have more nutrients in (see here).
